Inside the book a broken mirror and a print from that mirror reveal contrasts of light and dark; opaque and reflective.

Can is wrinkled and rusty forming a connection between the folds of the unmade bed and the crushed metal of the can. This reinforces and translates material from soft to hard; from clean and protected to damaged and weathered.
